Entering The Circle Hospital is always a pleasurable experience even if you are about to have a op, procedure are in a lot of pain etc. The Reception staff are always warm, welcoming & friendly as are the Cafe staff.
It is always extremely clean in the public areas, the toilets & Day care facilities.
All the staff are warm, patient, kind & caring. I would like to say a special Thank you to Mr Chris Brown, Orthopaedic Surgeon & Consultant. He is always extremely understanding, patient, honest, explains things clearly, sympathetic. You feel very confident that you are in good hands. Would also like to say Thank you to Sue his Secretary who is always warm & friendly on the phone.
I have surgery booked very soon; although I feel anxious I know I will be treated with care & a friendly reassuring manner. Especially in this current climate where you cannot have a visitor with you pre & post op.
I had excellent treatment from the radiology Doctor who did my scan.
However when I turned up at the door to come into the hospital the man on the door tried to insist that I remove my mask which is a high quality well fitting N95 mask and replace it with the lower quality loosefitting surgical blue mask.
Obviously I refused on the grounds that my mask was much better and I would be safer. The doorman explained that it was policy and that I would not be able to come in. I said it didn’t make any sense and I wasn’t removing my mask.
We were at an impasse and then luckily he suggested that I put the blue mask over the top of my mask. It was an absolute farce and if he had not come up with a good compromise (for which he should be credited)I would have been very angry and mad a complaint.
I was not prepared to risk my safety on the basis of a “computer says no “moment.
Incidentally I also noticed a number of members of staff walking around with loose low quality masks or masks not covering their noses. This is not good enough!
ALL of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Made me feel important , even though there were loads of other patients there at the same time.
Great hospital where all the staff are friendly and professional.
From day 1 until I had my last visit all was perfect.
I felt very comfortable in the hospital and relaxed which is very important after when recovering. All the staff were lovely and were always available if I needed them.
I've been under various disciplines at the Circle as a patient and have also seen it as a family member and have been very happy with the care that I have received from everyone from the front desk team through to the nursing staff and clinicians. On one occasion I did have cause to make quite a serious complaint and it was dealt with in a timely and compassionate manner which has kept my level of trust in the hospital; things won't always go to plan but it's how these situations are dealt with that's important. I'd certainly recommend the Circle and am very glad that it's so local.
Attending the Circle for appointments makes you feel less nervous than the RBH.
Lovely environment - efficient, caring staff.
